Morning for Shoebill; Departure from Entebbe off to Mabamba Swamp. You will be picked up from your location in Entebbe and driven to the shores of Lake Victoria. Take a boat trip takes about 40 minutes to reach the swamp. On arrival, you will take a glide through papyrus channels in a traditional canoe with a local bird guide. After finding the shoebill stork, you will spend some time learning more about it as you observe Uganda’s most iconic and elusive bird in its natural habitats.

Experience at CTC Conservation Center: On your arrival at the center, you will embark on an educational walk through the center. Learn about local wildlife conservation, animal rescue, and rehabilitation. You will have a chance to participate in feeding the wildlife such as the zebras and impalas. You can also pause for photos with the lions. Therefore, the possible close-up encounters with reptiles, antelopes, and big cats especially lions are what make your trip awesome and memorable.
