To begin your Uganda gorilla and chimpanzees safari, you will meet your safari guide and travel out of Kampala early in the morning. Discover what nature retains by enjoying gorilla trekking, chimps’ adventure, game drives, and boat excursions in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Your safari guide will meet you at an early drive from Kampala to begin your Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari. You will pause near the equator to feel as if one foot of each side of the southern and northern hemispheres were underfoot.

Lunch will be had in the town of Mbarara before the last section of the road to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your evening will be laid back as you take in the lodge’s vista. Your overnight stay will take place in the lodge on full board.

Day 2: Chimps Trekking in Kyambura Gorge and Boat Cruise with an Evening Game Drive.

Your guide drives you to Kyambura Gorge for a chimp trekking adventure first thing in morning. Meeting the chimpanzees ahead of you, you get a stroll over a stunning forest and gorge. Among the many more monkeys you will also be able to observe are black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tail vervet monkeys.

After the walk your guide leads you to the lodge for lunch. The boat tour in the Kazinga waterway is scheduled for afternoon. This two-hour boat trip allows you search the beaches for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birds.

Later on, you will embark for a nighttime game drive in Kasenyi, a noted wildlife habitat.

Day 3: Tree-climbing lions and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, you will go for the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is renowned for her tree-climbing lions; the wildlife drive here enables you search for them as well as see topis and buffaloes, elephants.

One fortunate day you could find some leopards. You will continue on the road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the mountain gorilla habitat, after the game drive. Your stay over night will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Your guide will lead you to the morning gorilla trekking starting location and then kick off your trip. You spend one hour with the gorillas once the walk over the forest brings you up to their level.

Your guide will drive you to the breathtakingly lovely Lake Bunyonyi for leisure after you return from the gorilla trekking. Neither included in the cost nor optional are boat trips and Batwa experience.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe.

You will begin the return to Kampala after breakfast. Depending on time, you will stop over along the route for lunch at Mbarara or Masaka. Your guide drops you off at Kampala/Entebbe Airport once you have finished your gorilla and chimpanzees safari.
