This tour is in the middle range. You may enjoy a wealth of wildlife, landscapes, and cultural encounters on this 13-day safari that highlights the finest of Uganda. This safari’s high point may be monitoring gorillas and chimps. Numerous bird species, a profusion of deep green forest, and incredible chances to observe rhinos, lions, hippos, buffaloes, leopards, and elephants are all there. You will appreciate Uganda’s crater lakes in the west and southwest as well as the Murchison Falls in the north.

Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport and Transfer to the Hotel.

At the Entebbe Airport, our amiable guide will greet you and take you to your Kampala or Entebbe hotel. The second-largest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Victoria, will provide you with a refreshing wind. You’ll sleep well in preparation for your journey the following day.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park.

After an early breakfast, you will go to Murchison Falls National Park. With a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to follow rhinos, the trip is a spectacular excursion. You will keep going until you reach Murchison Falls, where you will be able to see the Nile from the top of the falls. In before of your eyes, it is pushed down a 7-meter chasm and drops thunderously.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park Game Drive.

The largest park in Uganda that provides satisfying wildlife watching is Murchison Falls National Park. Following an early morning meal, you will begin the day with a wildlife drive along the northern bank of the Nile River, where you will search for various bird species, giraffes, elephants, hartebeests, buffaloes, leopards, and lions.

Seeing wild animals in their natural environment as they play, feed, and guard their young is really a privilege. The safari will continue on the Nile River in the afternoon. There are greater chances to see a range of animals and birds on this laid-back boat safari. You will see what is known as the “devil’s cauldron,” the water of the Murchison Falls. In all of Africa, only Uganda offers this kind of boat excursion.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

You will go to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of East Africa, today to see the chimpanzees’ habitat. Chimpanzee tracking is the primary attraction of Kibale Forest, which is home to thirteen different species of primates. As you travel through little towns, local marketplaces, and a variety of wildlife, you will be treated to breathtaking sights. This is a day excursion that may include a stop in a town along the way or a packed lunch.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park.

Kibale National Park is East Africa’s primate capital. Chimpanzee hiking through tropical forests and streams is a thrilling activity. Red-tailed monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from canopies may be seen. Find the chimpanzees with your guide.
Enjoy photos and watching them play and feed. If time permits, you will visit Bigodi Village and the wetland with its many birds and primates after lunch.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Today, after breakfast, visit Queen Elizabeth National Park. This hike offers views of crater lakes and the magical Rwenzori Mountains. The park will welcome you with a short wildlife drive before lunch and a Kazinga Channel boat ride. A relaxing boat safari with birdlife, crocodiles, and elephants gives fantastic picture opportunities.

Day 7: Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The animals in their families, clans, and groups start their day. Zoo animals are different from those in their natural environment. Open-roof safari vehicles can take you game driving in Kasenyi Plains. You’ll hunt Ishasha for tree-climbing lions with rangers. Lunch will be picnicked or at the lodge.

Day 8: Expedition To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Today you’ll go to Bwindi, home of gentle giants. Travel across the terraced slopes of the Kigezi Highlands on this rewarding tour. Lunch will be along the route or at the resort depending on arrival time. Resting at the lodge will prepare you for the following day’s hike.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Meeting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s gentle giants will make your safari unforgettable! The thick forest, home to birds, butterflies, primates, and animals, will delight you. Your park ranger guide will lead you to the massive and rare mountain gorillas. Trekking lasts 1 hour (occasionally) to 8 hours. You just have one hour with the gorillas to capture your best moment. Not interested in gorilla tracking? Try a communal village tour or a short guided woodland trek.

Day 10: Lake Mburo National Park for Wildlife.

Beautiful farms, plantations, and sceneries may be seen on the way to Lake Mburo National Park. A cultural museum showcasing the lives of the local indigenous people will be visited by you. Along the route, you will stop at a restaurant for lunch or a picnic. Later that afternoon, you will reach the park and embark on a boat excursion to Lake Mburo.

Day 11: Transfer to Jinja.

In Lake Mburo National Park, you will go on a wildlife drive after an early breakfast. The renowned Equator Line will be your layover before continuing on to Kampala. After eating lunch in the city or at the Equator, depending on when you arrive, you will continue on to Jinja. The source of the Nile River is located near Jinja.

Day 12: White Water Rafting on the Source of River Nile- Jinja.

Your trip to Jinja begins with an early morning pickup. You’ll pass Mbira Forest, Lugazi sugar farms, and the world’s longest River Nile. Jinja is 3 hours east of Kampala on Lake Victoria. The adrenaline capital of East Africa and the source of the Nile, this town is renowned. Visitors may enjoy sunsets, birds, and adventure here.

White-water rafting, kayaking, tubing, quad biking, mountain biking, and horseback riding are fun. Jinja offers beautiful nature and fading colonial buildings. You’ll also visit its bustling center and beautiful residential districts along the Nile.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.

Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport for your nighttime departure after an early breakfast. Evening flights via Entebbe International Airport or a post-night in Kampala or Entebbe are scheduled for this day. Please notify us of post-night requests.
