You will get the chance to explore all of the numerous sights and locations that make Uganda the Pearl of Africa if you go on a safari in Uganda for a period of seventeen straight days. This safari will take you to all of the most interesting safari spots in Uganda, including the majority of the country’s national parks.

Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.

Our safari driver/guide will meet and welcome you at the Entebbe International Airport before escorting you to your lodging so you can unwind after the exhausting trip. As you unwind at your hotel, take in the refreshing lake air.

Day 2: Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Very early in the morning, Our safari driver or guide will come get you from the hotel. Take advantage of a lunch break in Nakasongola before continuing on to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a rhino refuge. Take in some birdwatching in the area and get a sight of the white rhinos. After that, go to your hotel in Gulu for supper and rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo National Park.

Move on to Kidepo National Park: Kidepo is the most remote national park in Uganda, but those who brave the lengthy drive north across the untamed Karamoja border would agree that it is also the most spectacular, since Kidepo is one of Africa’s best wildernesses. A savannah environment stretches far beyond the gazetted area from Apoka, in the center of the park, towards horizons delineated by far-off mountain ranges. Afterward, have a game drive before checking into the lodge for supper and the night.

Day 4: Game drive and cultural visit.

Head for a Game drive and a cultural walk. Drive extensively up to Kanangorok Hot Springs and brace yourself for photo opportunities and chances of catching sight of more wildlife especially lions sitting on the rocks as they scan the park for possible prey. In the afternoon, head out for a cultural tour to the Karamojong people for a truly unique experience. Later head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison Falls National Park may be reached by car from Kidepo Valley National Park. In addition to enjoying a game drive in the park’s northern region, known as Para, you will eat lunch along the way. After that, spend the night and dine at the lodge.

Day 6: Game drive and boat trip at the bottom of the falls.

Expect to see lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, and baboons on your morning wildlife drive along the Northern Delta Nile. You will have a three-hour boat ride on the Nile after lunch. After that, spend the night and dine at the lodge.

Day 7: Top of the falls visit and relaxation.

Go to the top of the falls. The trek to the top of the falls at Murchison Falls National Park is usually a two-for-one experience, giving you the chance to see the birds and take in the breathtaking view of the Nile and the surrounding area. After that, spend the night and dine at the lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale National Park via Sempaya Hotsprings.

Transfer to Kibale National Park and stopover at Sempaya Hotsprings. The park is located in the western part of Uganda, bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo, and it is one of Uganda’s less visited national parks. Later continue with your journey to Kibale National Park, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking and bigodi swamp walk.

Breakfast is early before meeting our tour guide for a Kibale forest chimpanzee trekking briefing. We’ll then walk to follow Kibale National Park’s 500 chimpanzees. The greatest spot to see chimpanzees in Africa is in thick woods.

Chimpanzees in the wildlife park often eat fig tree fruits. The guided stroll teaches about chimpanzees, monkeys, and forest animals. Take the famed Bigodi Nature trek later. After relaxing at the lodge, enjoy a campfire.

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Leave Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop at Lake Katwe, famed in Uganda and East Africa for its high-quality salt manufacturing for years. An nighttime game drive at Queen Elizabeth National Park follows. Dine and sleep at the resort.

Day 11: Game drive and boat trip along Kazinga channel.

Enjoy an early morning wildlife drive and an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga river with bird vistas as Lake George links Lake Edward. A variety of aquatic mammals will be seen. Dine and sleep at the resort.

Day 12: Transfer to Ishasha Sector.

You are scheduled to be transferred to the Ishasha Sector in the afternoon. The Ishasha sector is particularly well-known for the tree-climbing lions that live there. These lions are a remarkable sight and one of the highlights of every safari that is conducted inside Queen Elizabeth National Park. The evening will be spent on a game drive, and then you will make your way to the lodge for supper and to spend the night there.

Day 13: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

It is planned that you will go on a game drive in the Ishasha area at an early hour that morning. After some time has passed, continue with your trek to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will check in at the lodge and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go to the Batwa and have an experience that is significant to their culture. After that, make your way to the lodge, where dine and spend the night.

Day 14: Gorilla trekking.

At 8:00 in the morning, gorilla tracking will commence. The duration of the journey may range anywhere from thirty minutes to seven hours, depending on the location where the gorillas spent the night.
Once you have arrived to the gorilla family, you will spend one hour with them, during which time you will see them feeding, interacting with one another, and demonstrating their abilities. After that, make your way to the lodge for supper and another night’s stay.

Day 15: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

In Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi is a lake that is enchanting and breathtakingly gorgeous, and it is a great place to rest and unwind after doing gorilla trekking. Following lunch, you will go on a boat ride that will take you around the different islands that are located in Lake Bunyonyi. You may also go ziplining, which is an optional activity. Subsequently, transportation to the resort for supper and overnight stay.

Day 16: Transfer back to Entebbe and Mabamba shoebill excursion.

Beginning your trip back to Entebbe, you will go over undulating hills that are topped with terraces. In addition, you will have a wonderful time taking in the verdant foliage that is found in the many regions that you will travel through.

Make a pit break at Kayabwe, which is located on the Equator line. You will go on a tour to Entebbe, where you will also get the opportunity to explore the marsh in search of the fabled Shoebill Stork. After that, make your way to the hotel, where dine and spend the night.

Day 17: Departure.

Following the early service of breakfast, the driver will transport you to Entebbe International Airport in plenty of time for your flight to depart.
