6-Day Gorilla Trek & Queen Elizabeth Park Flying Trip.
Overview
You may see Uganda kobs, elephants, hyenas, buffaloes, and the Ishasha tree-climbing lions at Queen Elizabeth, Uganda’s second-largest wildlife park, on your 6-day Gorillas and Wildlife Safari. We conclude our trip with the gorillas, the Gentle Giants of Bwindi’s dense forest National Park.
Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )
Day 1: Arrive in Uganda.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. Your driving guide will meet you, give you a briefing about Uganda and your safari, and then take you to your accommodation.
The airport and Lake Victoria are both approximately three minutes away from our hotel, so you can have a wonderful evening with breathtaking views when the sun rises at five in the morning.
Accommodation: Protea Hotel Entebbe
Day 2: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park.
We pack our luggage, check out of the hotel, and enjoy an early breakfast while gazing out over or touching Lake Victoria. Before departing for the western region of Uganda, meet our driver guide in the lobby.
We will make our first stop at the Equator line, have coffee or tea there, and then go south via Lake Mburo National Park, where we may be able to see zebras. After lunch in Mbarara town, go to Queen Elizabeth Park for a nighttime safari where you may view waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and many other animals.
Accommodation: Kikorongo Safari Lodge
Day 3: Game drive & Kazinga channel boat ride.
Enjoy stunning views of Lake Kikorongo, Lake Edward, and Lake George as you wake up. After eating breakfast, we will reconvene with our driver for a morning game drive. Buffaloes, lions, hyenas, Uganda kobs, elephants, hippos, waterbucks, and many more animals are likely to be seen.
Later, return to the lodge for lunch, swimming, and leisure. Take a boat trip in the evening over Lake George and Edward in the Kazinga waterway.
We’ll return at five o’clock and have a leisurely drive along the wildlife trails before returning to our resort for supper and lodging.
Accommodation: Kikorongo Safari Lodge
Day 4: Ishasha Sector to Bwindi forest.
We left for the Ishasha Sector, which is south of Queen Elizabeth Park, for a full-day game drive. The lions that climb trees in this area of the park are well-known. When the sun rises, look for the tree-climbing lions among the fig trees.
There will be more animals to observe, including waterbucks, topis, buffaloes, and enormous elephants. At 2:00 pm, have a leisurely lunch before continuing on to the Buhoma area of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. For dinner and lodging, check into our lodge.
Accommodation: Haven Lodge Buhoma Community
Day 5: Gorilla tracking.
For the day, we get up early. After preparing our tracking suits and breakfast, we will go for the Gorilla briefing. Gather your family or party and go to our tracking site with our driver.
Through thickets, hills, coffee or tea plantations, marshes, and whatever else may come up throughout the day, the tracking begins.
We eventually locate the kind giants, spend at least an hour with them, have lunch in the bush, and then go back to our car. Return by car for graduation and unwind at our lodge.
If we’re not too exhausted, we could go to the neighborhood in the evening and see some pygmies and orphans perform.
Accommodation: Haven Lodge Buhoma Community
Day 6: Departure.
We leave Bwindi, go to our airfield, and then take a domestic flight to Entebbe Airport to continue our tour.
Our staff will meet you if your flight is delayed for the day, take you for lunch and some downtime in Entebbe town, and then drop you off at the airport.
