Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park (Optional Community/Cultural Tour)

In order to be ready for the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary excursion that will take place on foot, you will travel west of the country to the rainforest of Kibale today. While you are traveling, you will stop for lunch. If you are tired after the long trip, you have the option of relaxing at the lodge, going to the Amabeere Caves, or even going on a community walk with a guide.

Day 2: Bigodi Swamp Walk & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an Evening Game Drive.

The day starts out with a walk into the Bigodi Swamp, which is known for providing some of the best opportunities to see monkeys and birds in Uganda. A considerable number of monkeys may be seen throughout this 4.5-kilometer route, which also provides the chance to view woodland and swamp specialties.

Following this, you will be taken to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may have the opportunity to go on a game drive in the evening in search of various animals. Along the way, we will consume our lunch.

Day 3: Chimp Tracking in Kalinzu, Boat Trip on Kazinga Channel and Possible Game Drives.

Chimpanzee tracking will take place in the Kalinzu Forest, which is controlled by the National Forest Authority. After breakfast, continue your journey to the forest. In the evening, you will go on a wildlife drive and a boat ride with the UWA once you have finished monitoring chimpanzees.

Numerous animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, and many more, are within your reach. If you are not completely fatigued, make arrangements with your guide to go on another game drive.

Day 4: Game Drive (Ishasha Tree Climbing Lions Search) and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Your trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will take place when breakfast has been completed. During your journey, you will be driving via Ishasha, which is located in the southern region of Queen Elizabeth and is well-known for the tree-climbing lions that live there. Following the completion of the drive, you will immediately make your way to Bwindi, on the way to which you will stop for lunch.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking, Afternoon Relaxation or an Optional Community Visit.

After an early breakfast, you’ll travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s woodland briefing to learn about your mountain gorilla trip. Bring adequate water and a lunch box. A potter will carry your suitcase and help you in slippery or hilly woodland areas for $15.

After the lecture, a park ranger leads eight groups into the forest for an hour with the gentle giants. Rain gear is essential in Bwindi’s tropical jungle. Relax at the resort or tour the village after gorilla tracking.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, Game Drive.

Enter Lake Mburo National Park on a game drive. The tiniest savannah park is crowded. It allows you a respite from the gorilla safari or a new start, depending on your itinerary. You may spot zebras, impalas, waterbucks, and more as you travel through. Please note that you may glimpse a leopard on a nice day or on a night wildlife drive.

Day 7: Morning Walking Safari in the Park & Return to Entebbe.

The day starts out with a cup of coffee and a walking safari into the wilds of Lake Mburo, where we are looking for various animals. Once you have finished your trip, go back to the resort for breakfast.

After you have finished your meal, you will start your trip back home. A break for lunch should be made near the Equator, and then you should continue on to Entebbe to begin your trip back home.
