Meet your local host and receive an introduction to Karamoja.

Day 3: Karamojong Cultural Experience

Spend meaningful time with a community host.

Learn about the manyatta, cattle traditions, family structures, food and other aspects of Karamojong heritage and contemporary life.

Day 4: Karamoja – Kidepo Valley National Park

Continue through the remote landscapes of northeastern Uganda towards Kidepo Valley National Park.

Arrive with time to begin enjoying one of Uganda’s most dramatic wilderness areas.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari

Spend the day exploring Kidepo in your private 4×4.

Look for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions and other wildlife against the park’s enormous valleys and mountain backdrop.

Day 6: Kidepo – Begin Return Journey

Enjoy a final morning in northeastern Uganda before beginning the journey south, breaking the drive with an overnight stop.

Day 7: Return to Entebbe/Kampala
