Day 1: Entebbe – Sipi Region

Leave Entebbe/Kampala and travel east towards the Mount Elgon region.

Settle into your lodge overlooking the highlands.

Day 2: Sipi Falls & Local Experience

Explore Sipi Falls and, depending on your interests, incorporate an appropriate locally guided community or coffee experience.

Day 3: Sipi – Karamoja

Travel north towards Moroto as the fertile highlands gradually give way to Karamoja’s drier landscapes.

Meet your local cultural host.

Day 4: Karamojong Community Experience

Spend the day learning about local life, pastoral traditions and the cultural importance of cattle.

Visit a manyatta through an appropriately arranged community experience.

Day 5: Karamoja – Kidepo Valley

Continue north through the Karamoja subregion towards Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 6: Kidepo Wildlife & Landscapes

Full day exploring Kidepo’s wildlife and valleys by private 4×4.

Day 7: Kidepo – Northern Uganda

Enjoy a final morning before beginning the return journey, overnighting en route.

Day 8: Return to Entebbe

Continue south and conclude your private cultural safari.
