HOT AIR BALLOONING IN QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK
One of Uganda’s treasures and most visited tourist destinations, Queen Elizabeth National Park is situated in the southern western part of the nation and only found in Lake Manyara in Tanzania; not recorded anywhere else in the world. The famous tree climbing lions are absent elsewhere in Uganda.
The well-known Kazinga canal featuring black lined elephants, hippos, and massive Nile crocodiles divides the park. The park has much to offer visitors; the list of attractions of this Albertine rift flow is almost limitless. Still, it’s great to see these gorgeous animals from the heavens outside of game drive.
The adventurous trip kicks off at 5:30. The hot air balloon safari starts in the morning with the amazing views of the beautiful sun rising from east as thought it was coming out from lake George, east of the park this balloon safari is one of a kind. Flight lasts for almost an hour.
Daily changes in where you meet at the Kasenyi gate for briefing the sites for lift off depend on the conditions and wind flow. You will meet your pilot at the briefing and be provided the safety gear; either coffee or tea is offered for the landing procedure. With a capacity of 300 000 cubic feet, the balloon can carry roughly 16 passengers.
Apart from on ground on landing the pilot and passengers celebrating with a glass of sparkling wine followed by the huge bush breakfast from the Mweya safari, the hot air balloon safari is fantastic excellent vantage as a passenger will have great photo chances from this journey other than on ground.
