How to get to the places where gorillas live
To get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, you can book regular or charter domestic flights with Aerolink Uganda from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrips. From there, you can take a road to the park headquarters.
You can also drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. To get there, you’ll need to leave from Entebbe or Kampala and go through Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, and finally the park offices. The whole trip will take you nine to ten hours.
You can also get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park from Kigali, Rwanda. To get there, fly to Kigali International Airport and then drive for about 5 to 6 hours to get to the park headquarters through the Katuna border in Kabale or the Cyanika border in Kisoro.
